En 05 de julio de 2011 fueran realizadas las reuniones en linea en inglés y español para iniciar el proceso de construcción colectiva de definición de las prioridades estratégicas, a mediano plazo, de la cooperación técnica de BIREME/OPS/OMS con los países, fortaleciendo el rol de las BVS Nacionales como espacio de integración de las fuentes y servicios de información científico técnica en salud.
Los participantes de 24 países presentes tuvieran la oportunidad de compartir diferentes acciones de desarrollo de la BVS en sus países en las sessiones.

On July 5, 2011 the first online meetings in English and Spanish took place in order to start the process of collaborative definition of the strategic mid-term priorities of the technical cooperation between BIREME/PAHO/WHO and LA&C countries, strengthening the national Virtual Health Libraries as the integration space of scientific and technical information sources and services in health.
There were participants from 24 countries who had the opportunity, during the sessions, to share several actions aimed to the development of the VHL in their countries.
